Below is a series of paintings which took me a year to complete, from November 2019 - November 2020, Titled "Jowe's House", it depicts artefacts, paintings and interiors from the home of creative and cult punk figure, Jowe Head, with whom I lived from 2019-2021,

Jowe makes sculptures from found objects, and also homemade musical instruments - a transition, it can be said, from that of "hoarder to order" - if that's the correct turn of phrase! 

Broadly speaking, the paintings below fall into one of three categories: Artefacts and Sculptures, Musical Instruments (including those of Jowe's own creation), and several indoor and outdoor scenes which give some perspective not just of individual objects, but also their environment.  If nothing else, they illustrate a maxim which it's always important to hold dear - that life should be experienced in glorious Technicolour!
